EU FINANCING OF POLISH–GERMAN TRANSBORDER AREA AS ONE OF THE MAIN COMPETITIVENESS FACTORS

Abstract:
This article considers the main financing sources and directions of the Polish - German transborder area. Measures and projects which were realized on Polish and German border area in the environmental protection, transport infrastructure and social-cultural sphere, are lighted. The influence of EU structural funds financing on competitiveness of the Polish-German border region is shown.
