THE POPULATION AS AN OBJECT OF ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY IN ISSUES OF QUALITY OF LIFE

Abstract:
This paper clarifies the essence of the concept of "environmental safety" from the viewpoint of quality of life. The population is considered as object and subject of environmental safety in relation to the issues of life and health protection. The main areas of population research as a subject of environmental safety are determined. The importance of the use of medical and demographic data as indicators of ecological safety is underlined.
