MORTALITY OF THE POPULATION OF THE KHERSON REGION AT THE BEGINNING OF THE XXI CENTURY: DYNAMICS, REASONS, TERRITORIAL DIFFERENCES

Abstract:
The dynamics of indexes of total mortality, child mortality, the working age population mortality and the distribution of deaths by cause in the Kherson region and areas for the period from 2000 to 2013 are analyzed. Groups of districts in terms of total mortality and infant mortality are provided. Mortality factors in the region have been analyzed. Measures to reduce mortality and increase life expectancy were offered.
