HUMAN SERVICES OF CHERNIHIV REGION IN THE FRAMES OF CENTRAL PLACES THEORY

Abstract:
The essence of the Christaller's central places theory is disclosed. The peculiarities of its application to for socio-geographic investigations of services are explored. The approbation of this theory via the example of Chernihiv region in Ukraine is proposed. The service centers of various types, their hierarchy, influence zone as well as their role in public services are investigated.
