LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT IN THE RESTAURANT INDUSTRY: GEOSPATIAL FEATURES

Abstract:

Revealed global trends of using logistic and supply chain management in today's restaurant business. Characterized achievements of such well-known international companies in the field of logistics and restaurant supply chains as "HAVI Logistics" (Denmark), restaurant chains "Chipotle" (U.S.А), "Dorden" (U.S.A). Shown that the restaurant logistics and supply chain management in the restaurant business can combine seemingly incompatible things: improve the quality of food, to ensure it’s safety and, simultaneously, reduce associated costs.
