HUMAN-GEOGRAPHICAL STUDIES OF CHERKASY COSTAL RECREATIONAL ZONE

Abstract:
The authors investigate natural, historical, social, economic, and behavioral factors determining the recreation activities in Dnipro aquatic area and the coastline within the city of Cherkasy. The zoning of recreational area with 5 functional areas is carried out. These areas were analized in terms of functioning features, resource availability and development trends.
